Take care of cardiovascular health

Cuidar la salud cardiovascular

Cardiovascular health is taken care of through a healthy lifestyle, incorporating sports, enough hours of sleep and a diet with the necessary vitamins into the daily routine. Omega 3 is a type of fat that contains numerous benefits for the heart. Therefore, when following a diet, it is preferable to choose foods rich in Omega 3.

Some of these foods are: nuts, broccoli, dark chocolate, salmon, strawberries, olive oil and green tea. Even though these foods are very good for the heart, it does not mean that we cannot eat anything else. The best diet is one that is varied and based on natural and quality raw materials.

Regarding sports, it is advisable to exercise outdoors as long as the weather allows it since it provides greater benefits to mental health than exercising in a gym. Regardless, all types of exercise are good for both physical and mental health. The most recommended sports for those people who want to focus on their cardiovascular health are swimming, aerobics and racquet sports such as tennis or paddle tennis.

Finally, when we talk about sleeping enough hours at night, the number varies depending on the age group of the people. Children ages 3 to 5 should sleep 10 to 13 hours every 24 hours, including naps. Children from 6 to 12 years old, between 9 and 12 hours every 24 hours. From 13 to 18 years old, it is recommended to sleep between 8 and 10 hours every 24 hours and finally, adults should sleep at least 7 hours every 24 hours. 8 hours is usually considered the ideal time to recharge the energy necessary to face a day of work and everyday life.

In conclusion, these are several ways to take care of your cardiovascular health in the best possible way. We hope that you incorporate as much advice as possible into your daily routine and that you obtain the best health for your heart.
